Team Tully had a lovely time in WV for our annual Memorial Day trip! We got to see so many people and, as always, the picnic was a success...full of yummy food, family, and fun. It was pretty hot but Luke seemed to want nothing more than to be outside so Papaw rushed out to get him a swimming pool and I have never seen such a happy baby. The water hose was by far his favorite toy and our little man is fearless when it comes to water...he just shoved that hose right in his face and laughed the entire time...after he caught his breath from the cool blast of water. So cute! Luke has definitely got the outdoorsy, romping around in the mud, looking for bugs, West Virginia kind of little boy gene. :) He was in his glory and he has NEVER been so dirty. Thanks to Granny for all the extra towels. We just let him have at it...muddy face, muddy feet, muddy butt - there is no better place to hang out outside. Luke even "helped" Papaw out with the vehicle inspections, he is learning from the master already. Here are some pictures from our weekend.

Luke is very proud of his WV roots, as he should be!

Rocks, flowers, and bugs...oh my!

"Don't worry about me Granny, I've got this!"

"Thank you for the pool Papaw!"
Mom.. Mom...MOM....watch this!!"
Ahhh...the cool and refreshing feeling of mud on the hiney. One of life's greatest pleasures!

Yes, that is my child already perfecting his spitting. Should I be proud?

Of all days to wear a white skirt :)

Daddy is showing Luke a worm, lecturing him about how it is a living being and what wonderful things worms do for the soil and other bugs.

Luke listens for .5 seconds then snatches the worm away and squeezes the poor thing in his muddy little hand!
Thank you to the Tully's for a wonderful visit! We had a blast and we miss you already!
Smooches---K
