1. 2 more teeth! The grand total is up to 4 now...the two top center ones have made their appearance and he handled it like a champ...not a peep of discomfort.
2. Luke is "talking" all the time! He seems to have so much to say...he even changes his tone, inflection, and volume. We have had many many conversations about who knows what but it is so entertaining!
3. Luke is a dancing machine. Anytime he hears a decent beat he starts bopping around. He is a riot and takes his dance sessions very seriously (he gets this from his mom for sure!!). Thanks to Ima he is now a Beatles fan and a handbell choir fan. He watched Ima conduct the church's bell choir and now his dancing includes a lot of arm swinging. The boy has got rhythm.
4. Actual new words include: ball, bird, and tick-tock. He uses the same "word" every time he sees pineapple but it does not even resemble the word pineapple.
5. He is still not walking but he does enjoy the assisted walk...you know, the kind where you kill your back bending over and holding his hands so he can wander around. He is standing alone but has not yet attempted to move on his own from a standing position.
6. Luke is very into kicking things (again, thanks to Ima) and he makes such broad sweeping strokes with his legs...it is so funny to see. It is sort of a cross between a soccer player and a ballerina.
Hard to believe that one month from today our little guy will be 1! What a year it has been, but more on that later. Let's just bask in my absolute favorite 11 month old! Thanks to Freddy for today's pictures...a little glimpse of Luke during our pre-naptime reading session...pretty much the only time this little man sits still!
