Two of my Very Favorite People

I used to be a teacher, well, I still feel like I am a teacher but now I only have one student. I used to have dozens of students who graced my classroom each day. As all of you teachers know there are some students that are forgettable and some that will become a part of you. J is one of those students - she has made a lasting impression and I am lucky to know her. Finally, after 4 years, our paths have crossed again and J made her way to our quiet, little town; to a house full of boxes and only one lampshade remaining. She got to meet Luke - so wonderful! We got to chat and oh how I have missed that laugh! It was beyond good...enough said.

Luke: "Don't even try to tell me that dinosaurs ride school buses."

J: "Not ALL dinosaurs, just purple ones."

J: "Geez, it has been such a long time since I have said or heard the word "quack!"

Luke: "Not me, I hear it 50,000 times a day!"

J: "This book is wullah!"

Luke: "What does that mean?"
