LL is now Luke (too much confusion with the Cool J)

The 9 week stats are in: our little guy weighs 14lbs. (94th percentile), is 25 1/8th inches long (97th percentile), and has a head circumference of 15cm (I think...I wasn't really paying attention for that measurement...45th percentile). He is a strapping little one and he gives us quite the workout toting him around. He is full of smiles though and I could use a little arm toning. He had his first round of shots too and let me tell you it was awful...more so for me than for him. He wailed for about 3 minutes straight but then not a peep for the rest of the day - what a good boy!!

In other news Luke and I went to visit Aunt Molly and cousin Jeffrey earlier this week and we had a wonderful time. We played with toys and went for a nice long walk (in PERFECT baby walking weather) around the neighborhood. It was great seeing Jeffrey too because he is growing like crazy and is adding so many words to his vocabulary..."Luke" is not yet one of them.

Here are some pictures for your entertainment:

He is getting to be so observant, he hates to miss anything! (this is fine unless it is 11:00 at night and there is not much to be missed...reasoning with him is out of the question though!)

He is getting really good at sucking those fingers...I am actually promoting this habit!

Jeffrey teaching Luke how to eat like a big boy! Aunt Molly is a genius with the shirt removal!

The changing table is the location for many deep conversations - sometimes he will be content here for close to an hour!
