This morning Team Tully said goodbye to our lovely weekend guests. LL got to meet his Uncle R and Aunt M for the first time and I am pretty sure he did not want them to leave. We all had a super fabulous (yes, that is how great it was) time with Uncle R and Aunt M and we can't wait until they come to visit again. Aunt M is such a natural with babies and it was a pleasure to see her connect with LL right away. I was thrilled to have a little extra time to get some chores done and she was thrilled to babysit (she even changed diapers)! We mostly hung around the house because it is hotter than hot outside but we played a lot of games and LL even let us watch an entire movie (without pressing pause, fast forward, or rewind)!! It was glorious...the simple pleasures have certainly changed in our lives. Watching an entire movie from beginning to end, eating sitting down, and sleeping for five straight hours...those things make a good day :)
LL is on the verge of giggling and has gotten way more mobile. No more carrying my coffee cup at the same time as him. He is all I can handle. He is big and strong and perfect.
