Believe it or not this is just mintues before our little guy fell asleep. I will forever be amazed by how he can go from being wide awake to being fast asleep, or from screaming to completely silent...never a dull moment. 
Mom and LL enjoying some porch rocking chair time. LL loves being outside and there are times when going out to the porch on the rocking chairs is the only thing that soothes him. We are already planning some camping trips :)
Our nightly dinner set up. Let's all notice how LL is already at the head of the dinner table...literally and figuratively. Thank goodness L does not believe in assigned seats! (note the ketchup is ready and waiting..no other food is present yet but the ketchup is already at its post - a dinner staple).
Wearing the frog outfit and in the frog position. Cuter than words! So, all is well here. LL has been waking up only once at night these days so that is fantastic! Hopefully that will not only last but we are hoping soon for an all nighter :) . . . we shall see. Our dearest Aunt Ellie came to visit this past week and we loved seeing her...LL got lots of hugs and kisses and a brand new beach towel for our much anticipated trip to HH! We also got a visit from our dear, sweet Amish neighbors who brought with them oodles of corn from their garden, homemade pasta, and of course whoopie pies! YUM! They were naturals with LL and even taught him a few Dutch words...adorable.
As for the rest of us: L is really really really busy at work but has been doing a great job of leaving work at work. He also put up our basketball rim over near the barn so that has been a stress reliever for him. I am loving my gig as a stay at home mom, but I am also trying to keep in touch with all my friends too...most have said"you call me" due to the sometimes randomness of LL's schedule. I have been trying to do just that. Riggs is great and just yesterday enjoyed a playdate run around with his friend Odie. Tomorrow Sarah is coming to see him and I know he will be thrilled about that!
