The Wedding

The Wedding of the year has come and gone.  The Wedding of the year was amazing and fun and beautiful and magical.  Pictures from The Wedding of the year have been trickling in so there may be more to share but I have been anxious to blog about all the fun we had and all the joy we shared with E and J!  They looked sublimely happy and that brings us JOY.

As I mentioned the photos have been trickling in because I had some very important Matron of Honor duties to complete so I rarely had my phone with me so I am thankful to each and every one of you who has shared these beautiful images.

(things aren't in order but it was four days of LOVE and laughter and fun and family and friends and JOY...it doesn't matter what day it was...it was AMAZING)

Team Tully successfully finishing the rehearsal.  L and Luke were included in the procession..how sweet is that?!

Doing my Matron of Honor walk down the aisle.  I did this same walk on wedding day! (kidding...Daney would have killed me.)

These two boys were so fantastic!  They were polite and respectful and willing to help with anything Aunt Daney and Uncle James needed.  Molly and I could not be more proud of the boys we are raising.

This is the man I married and the man I love.  You can see why.

One of my very favorite pictures. Of all time.  My mom and me.  The woman I try to emulate each and every day.

My parents.  Forever our role models.  How adorable are they?!

The bride and groom.  24 hours before becoming Mr. and Mrs.  I saw both Daney and James on wedding day, an hour before the ceremony.  They both were cool and calm and oh so ready.  That speaks volumes I think.  I delivered flowers to the groom and groomsmen and I asked James how he was doing.  Before he even answered my question he wanted to know how Daney was.  A good man.

Luke helping to load all of these gorgeous wave votives.

Followed promptly by an armpit fart parade.  #cousins #aboyslife #maynevergrowoutofit

This picture cracks me up!  The best man stayed with my parents for a few nights and prior to the rehearsal dinner he asked to borrow an iron and ironing board so that he could iron his pants.  My dad retrieved both and set them up.  Apparently he got the wrong iron so my mom get the preferred one.   My mom offered to iron his pants.  This grown man has ironed his own pants for over a decade.  But when a mom offers he couldn't help but take her up on it.  So, there is my mom, ironing the best man's pants while he watches and drinks a beer.  Priceless.

A post rehearsal walk at the marina.  These two hit up the real estate office and got some fliers for boats for sale.  The found one that they liked and are already saving for it. :-)

Manis and Pedis for the wedding party!  Fun!

Me and my best (and oh so handsome!) guy!

The father/daughter dance. Beautiful

These three!  Oh how wonderful they all were!  This was post wedding pictures in which the boys quickly asked if they could "untuck".

A Photo Booth.  I questioned it at first.  Now I am believer!  It was hilarious and fun and I don't think there was a single wedding guest that didn't get in it!

So awesome

Father/Son weirdness

Daney and her girls.  Also, the flowers!!!!  My mom outdid herself with all of the gorgeous flowers!  For the bridal party, the groom and groomsmen, the aisle markers and family members.  They were all beautiful and perfect and made with love!! (and sweat!)

It wasn't all wedding all the time.  The kiddos got their fair share of beach time in!  And thanks to L and M and M for their amazing childcare endeavors while I was doing my sisterly duty.

H = 6
J = 9
L = 7.5

Look at those smiles!  And that dress!!!!

My siblings.  The greatest people I know.

H and Daney have a very special relationship so to see her following the bride so closely was no surprise to me.  How cute!

Early risers get the good waves. :-)

The program attendants.  Apparently they did an amazing job

My two very favorite people in all of their handsome-ness!  Love!

Again, my mom is unbelievable. She and my dad made all of these beautiful cookies! How wonderful to have so  many personal touches!

Team Tully!

It really was a beautiful weekend!  There were so many special touches and fun things that made this wedding so unique and perfectly Daney and James!  We had an amazing time celebrating love and family!  Congratulations to the happy couple!
