As alway we made our way to West Virginia for Memorial Day and as always we had a great time! Our visit was full of the great outdoors, family, friends, and good ol' country livin'! We cherish our time in this place with these people. We have families that support and love us beyond measure and for that we are thankful.

A high school friend of L's came to visit and his three girls and Luke made up games and ran around in the yard while we enjoyed catching up. Fast friends!
Pete. As I have said before, Pete is such a great cousin! A 13 year age difference does not matter a bit when these two are together. They have so much fun and Luke idolizes his cool cousin! Here they are making mud balls and throwing them at a cinderblock pile. No joke..at least an hour of entertainment right there!

The annual cookout brought over 20 people to Granny and Papaw's house and we enjoyed the fellowship and fun! Granny also let L and I help her with some closet purging and we were so proud of what she was willing to let go of. When you declutter your space you are not only donating items that someone else can really use but you are decluttering your mind and life. It feels good and we were happy to help and very proud of the progress! Thanks to Pete for being the delivery truck driver for all that stuff.
It was a weekend of love and fun and a great way to kick off Summer 2017!
