Summer Love 2015 - The Extraordinary

Our summer was full of family and friends but it was also full of the ordinary that are extraordinary days!  We had days when we didn't leave the house.  Days that had uno game after uno game.  Days of stuffed animal picnics.  Days of Lego Store and Lego challenges.  We took early morning walks and pre-bedtime bike rides.  We went to the pool and perfected our torpedo retrievals. The extraordinary days are what make life whole, what fills us up, what we cherish.

 Riggs.  Beloved...beyond measure.

Luke took part in a Lego "master builder" class.  He learned out to create a sphere out of Legos!

I wasn't kidding about the golfing!  Obsessed!

Even 6 year olds need naps sometime.  :-)

Mommy School!  All three states of matter in one delicious treat!

He would do it all day every day!

Seriously.

Sweet Riggs

 Experiments galore!  Homemade chapstick!

Me and my best guy....and Ellie!

 Indoor camping...a summer necessity!

 Commander Luke

The logical minds of the Tully family playing chess.

Such a cool gift from Granny's sister - Aunt MaryAnn.  Luke's very own metal detector!  Luke loves it, Riggs hates it.

Seafood night with Aunt Daney and Mr. James.  Luke has always been a seafood kid!

Luke and I went to an origami class and although we did learn how to make the quintessential paper crane and frog we also picked up a new book about paper airplanes.  We created every single one of them in the book and then put them through a tournament!  "Hang Glider" was the winner!

Cardboard, scissors, and a huge imagination!

 Zoo fun!

In this picture Luke is "training" Riggs.  Riggs is 10 years old but I guess some training wouldn't hurt.

This Kid is what summer is all about!!!!
