Riggs

We recently said goodbye to Riggs.  Our sweet, adorable, friendly, and best dog ever, Riggs.  Heartbreaking does not even begin to describe it.  Riggs will forever be a part of Team Tully and he is missed so very very much.  We love him beyond measure and he is very much a part of our life story.  We adopted him 9 years ago from a rescue shelter and many people have said how lucky Riggs was to join our family but in reality we were the lucky ones.

Thank you, Riggs.  Thank you for so many things.  Thank you for being a friend.  Thank you for being family.  Thank you for being a playmate.  Thank you for being gentle.  Thank you for being concerned.  Thank you for being protective.  Thank you for being kind.  Thank you for being funny.  Thank you for being sweet.  Thank you for being a confidant.  Thank you for being a nurse.  Thank you for being silly.  Thank you for having the nanu.  Thank you for your soft ears.  Thank you for the spot.  Thank you for liking to be brushed.  Thank you for only barking when you need to.  Thank you for sleeping on our bed.  Thank you for not being a licker.  Thank you for your love of peanut butter and ice cream.  Thank you for only killing one cat.  Thank you for leaving that groundhog for Daney.  Thank you for long walks.  Thank you for camping with us.  Thank you for knowing exactly when we cross the bridge to Hilton Head.  Thank you for not smelling like that skunk forever. Thank you for fishing with Sheshy.  Thank you for having lots of dog friends.  Thank you for keeping the kitchen floor clean. Thank you for loving kids.  Thank you for eating pine cones.  Thank you for all the moves and zip codes.   Thank you for always wanting to be included.  Thank you for laying your head on my pregnant belly.  Thank you for greeting L wildly every. single. time. he came home.  Thank you for playing Luke's games.  Thank you for being you.  Thank you for loving us unconditionally and completely. Thank you, Riggs, thank you so much.  May you always know how much you matter and how much you are loved.  Thank you. We love you!
