I met Lisa when we were living in Florida and I am so incredibly thankful that our paths crossed. She is an amazing friend, mother, wife, and person. She was by far the hardest to say goodbye to when we moved here. She and I seem to share a brain and our most favorite comment to each other is "we are the SAME person!" :-) We talk (text) almost every single day and she is very much a part of my life and my story. I adore her and her daughters who are fun, and brilliant, and kind. Luke and Chloe were the best of friends at the ripe old ages of 2 and 3 and at the end of June we reunited!! Lisa and her family have moved within 3 hours of us and I could not be happier (actually, moving next door would make me happier but "you get what you get and you don't pitch a fit."). We went to visit them and although I have seen Lisa a few times since we moved north the kids had not seen each other in 2.5 years. Let me tell you...there are a million things that are wonderful and inspiring about kids but their ability to pick up as if no time as passed is genuine and real and amazing! We had a great time and we are so excited about many more chances to make memories!

So fantastic! I love these kids!
Abby's face is priceless! The Luke-Abby relationship is pretty darn cute!
Us :-)
Lily and Luke
Swimming attire was not at all planned but they could totally pass as siblings!
