The Luke and Jeffrey Show

Luke got to spend his actual birthday in Hilton Head - what a lucky kid!!  Not only were Ima and Sheshy there to celebrate but so were Uncle Mit and Jeffrey!  It was awesome!  The boys picked up like they see each other everyday.  They had so much fun playing and beach combing and wave jumping and just being together.  I just know that it made Ima and Sheshys' hearts swell with love and pride.  It was fantastic!  We missed L and Aunt Molly and Hallie and Aunt Daney and we wished you could have seen the cousins in action but August is fast approaching for round two!  :)

Boy Central:  robots, cars, planes, and boats!

The classic tub picture. :)  (Ima was in the middle of a VERY interesting story - it probably included tales of a starfish or something).

Storytime!  Ima devised a plan where she would read both boys 2 stories and then they were sequestered to their own rooms for 1 or 2 additional stories.  Worked like a charm!

Seriously, is there anything better than a day at the beach?!
Jeffrey is a wild man in the ocean!   He jumped the waves over and over and over again, grinning the whole time!
Teamwork
Always a beach favorite...snacktime!
Uncle Mit leading the way
I wasn't close enough to hear but Luke is undoubtedly telling Uncle Mit something very serious about horseshoe crabs or jelly fish or hermit crabs or Optimus Prime.  :)

My favorite 3 year old!

Decorating birthday cupcakes - Jeffrey was very precise and Luke was a little spazzy with the sprinkles.  :)
Luke wants to be in charge of pre-nap storytime...
... Jeffrey is all ears!  :)
Cupcake time!  Please notice how Ima has regular birthday candles and THREE of them!  Grandmother of the year award!  To be fair though, she has been doing this A LOT longer than me!  Ha!
Heaven
This might have been my favorite moment.  We were walking up the boardwalk to get to the beach.  Mit was leading the way, then Ima and the boys, and Sheshy and I were in the back.  Not long after this photo was taken Jeffrey turned around and said; "Keem (that's me), do you hear the ocean?"  I told him that yes, I certainly do.  Luke then turns around and says; "It is calling us."   I smiled and Sheshy smiled.  Sheshy said to me:  "Remember that."  I certainly will!  I love these little guys and I love this place!
No Fear
Jeffrey preferred to jump over the waves and Luke preferred to "ride" them.

A great time had by ALL!
