The Tully - Gonzalez Reunion!!

Our dear, sweet, wonderful friends from way back when came to visit us for a few days!  We were thrilled to see them and to meet their beautiful twin daughters and for them to see how much Luke has changed in the last 2 years.  It was a wonderful visit and it was as if we had just seen them yesterday.  I think that is how you know who are the best of friends, you really can pick up where you left off, no matter the distance.  R and T and their family have finished their stay in Mexico and are off to London for the next two years.  We are incredibly proud of them and are amazed by the life they lead and are sharing with their girls.  Truly amazing friends that we love dearly!

We sure stayed busy with all the little ones and I think everyone had a great time!

I LOVE this one!  I am pretty sure Luke would stay and play cars with R all. day. long.  And I am happy R got to put his awesome truck voice to work for a while  :)

So, I know this isn't the greatest picture but I think it just shows you how time flies!  This is now how we spend our Sunday mornings and when we first met R and T our Sunday mornings were spent casually reading the newspaper and drinking coffee...until at least 9am (I am pretty sure this picture was taken at about 745am!)   Love it!!

We hit up the Children's Museum downtown where Luke dove right into the animal hospital.  Such focus!

The grocery store was a HUGE hit!  Please notice that the very first thing Luke put in his cart was a steak!  He is certainly his father's son!  :)

Katen and Charlotte were in LOVE with the mini grocery store!  I am pretty sure they would have been happy to spend all day in this section.  So cute!!

This picture cracks me up because I think it is such a great representation of the girls.  Katen is very happy to just go with the flow and Charlotte is very happy being Miss Independent.  A perfect match!

"I better check out before I leave."

The next day we headed to the zoo!  So much fun!

At 17 months Katen and Charlotte do as they are told, at nearly 3 years old Luke gives attitude and exasperation!

Luke feeding the giraffes!  For real, feeding them.  Awesome!

The carousel.  Of all the animals Luke chose a crane.  I find this strange and fantastic!

I simply LOVE this picture!  What a great day!!

Charlotte and her Mommy  :)

The Daddies and Luke and Katen  :)

I know Katen's face looks slightly like terror but I assure you...it was sheer JOY!

What a gorgeous family!

Luke wanting in on the Gonzalez goodness!   :)

This just makes my heart sing!  I love that our table for four has turned into a table for 7!!

We can't wait for more FAMILY dinners!  London...here we come!

It is rare in life that you come across people that are completely geniune and kind and loving and respectful.  We are so grateful to know them and be apart of their life story!  We miss you already and we wish you all the best as you continue to live the dream!!!
