We were lucky enough to be able to spend the general Easter season with both sides of the family! We are blessed to have such amazing family and we all enjoyed spending time with them!
Round One took place in Hilton Head with Aunt Daney, Ima, and Sheshy:
Fishing....naturally!
The Boys
The indoor egg hunt with real eggs! Each one had someone's name on it so that made it extra fun!
Luke exclaiming to L (i.e. the cameraman) that his egg was found!
We NEVER leave Mr. Riggs out of the celebration. :) Luke showing Riggs his egg...believe it or not eggs are one of very few things Riggs won't eat.
Round Two was spent with Granny and Papaw at our new house. We had a fantastic time and were so happy to show them around our new home and our new city. We stayed very busy with another Easter celebration!
Dyeing Eggs!
Luke was so eager to show Papaw his new Transformer book (thanks again Ms. Angie!!!)
Another hunt! For some reason this never gets old! Seriously, I think Luke did at least 5 easter egg hunts.
Got it!
As mentioned before Luke is now obsessed with swings. For real, OBSESSED!
Our neighborhood park has some tennis courts so we all thought we would play a little. It. Was. Hysterical!!!!
Such focus and form.
Such concentration and laughter! We had a great time!
Some of us took it very seriously! :)
The ballboy
We went to the SC State Museum and it was awesome! So much to see and do but I think Luke's absolute favorite was the miniature train set.
I asked who he was calling on the "really old phone" and his response was "Chloe"! (awwww!!!)
We took a picnic lunch to eat by the river and on the way there we had a snake siting!
The favorite pastime these days (equal with swinging) is throwing rocks into any given body of water. A great after lunch activity and perfect for wearing him out on the ride home!
Seeing family is always so special and we are so thankful to have such active participants in Luke's life. It fills our hearts and we know how lucky we are! Hooray for family visits!!!
