Lovely

My dear, sweet sister threw the most lovely baby shower for me over the weekend. She really did an excellent job and I loved every second of it. The guest list was full of friends and family and everyone was so generous with their gifts and love. I am lucky to know them all. We had delicious food prepared by Daney and Mom...cookies shaped like frogs, fruit salad to die for, Mom's famous spinach dip, and key lime squares (my favorite! ). Yum!! The favors were perfect too and I think everyone was pleased. My sister-in-law did an excellent job with the games and we had a blast. I would like to pat myself on the back for my knowledge of babyfoods (a pat on the back goes out to Mrs. R too!), the meat ones did throw me for a loop, but at least I didn't guess "meatloaf" like one shower guest! :) I didn't get a chance to take any pictures so once my dad sends me some of his I will be sure to post them. It was a great time and I would like to thank KMW and IA for traveling so far to be there. It really meant a lot!

Meanwhile, the boys (Dad, Mit, and L) were busy cutting down trees (dead ones) in my parent's backyard. It kept them busy and feeling masculine in an otherwise very girly atmosphere. Jeffrey also escaped the girly-ness by napping.
