Mostly pictures but gosh do they represent a great time! Ima and Sheshy once again made a dream vacation happen. We had a wonderful time and are forever thankful for each other and many memory making moments.
Bermuda 2026:
The cousin crew (Jeffrey - 18, Luke - 17, Hallie - 15, Evelyn - 7, Amelia - 5)
The greatest guy I know! And how lucky am I that he is also my brother. The best of the best.
Shesh and "the teens" saying goodbye to NYC as we leave the port
Team Tully
I am just the barmaid but always happy to lend a hand (or 2) for . . .
. . . these fellas
L, Jeffrey, and a Luke/Evelyn team (he built it, she threw it) entered the paper airplane competition with about 75 other people - we all gathered around to watch and that was a good thing because...
L won the whole thing! I've never been so proud!
Ima and Shesh and "the grands" - these kids are so very lucky!
Ashore in Bermuda on Day 1
Mit in charge of public transportation fare for the day! We took a ferry to get from one side of the island to another, followed by some buses - very easy to get around
The non-shoppers in the family
A full ferry on the way to St. George - a nearly empty one on the way back - we actually caught the very last ferry back to the ship
So colorful! Such a beautiful island!
I just love these faces!
They never did finish this church, I kind of like it this way, so cool
We had a bit of a wait to tour the caves but these 5 didn't mind one bit - outdoorsy kids for the win!
Worth the wait
Hot, sweaty, and in age order
Bermuda's location makes it such an interesting landscape - gorgeous!
When there are multiple geologists in the family you stop and discuss and photograph and appreciate cross bedding like this. Textbook cross-bedding. Not to worry, there is also a photo with Luke and Hallie in it for scale.
We found this hidden gem of a beach - only two other people were there - but so was a very active Portuguese Man o' War. We didn't stick around to snorkel.
Speaking of Portugal, we have a very similar picture to this from our time in Portugal (7 years ago!!). Still a deep thinking and observant kid - just a whole lot taller.
Mit and J rented scooters (Luke not quite old enough, had to be 18) but Luke did sneak in a ride in a more secluded area. Jeffrey let me ride along with him for a bit...so fun!
The pre-dinner obligatory photo
The post-dinner shows are always a good time, and we took up nearly a whole row. Love!
Sunset from the top deck
And back to port on a very foggy morning!
As always, a huge THANK YOU to Ima and Shesh for their generosity and love. We are so lucky to have you as our guideposts and role models. This time together is precious and we are so very grateful for the time and the places and each other. Love!
