Hey everyone! Here we are. Here we are making the best of this time of year and all the traditions and change in traditions that has come with 2020. We continue to stay healthy and we are doing our best to roll with it, to embrace the change, to reflect on what really matters, and to make new traditions while honoring the ones we have had for years and years. Covid has changed our daily lives for sure but we often talk about how our core values, our family mission, our purpose has not. We try very hard to be present and to live life on and with purpose and we have been able to do that despite the pandemic. Here is life lately...
L ran in a socially distant race...socially distant because he is FAST! He did a great job and was so proud of himself. Luke and I were able to meet him at the finish line...barely.
Our good boy!
My pandemic baking bonanza continues. I have mastered the sourdough world and I am moving on to holiday treats. A ginger molasses cast iron bake. YUM! Next up are cranberry-orange sweet rolls. Who am I??
Ahhhh West Virginia. We all got Covid tests to make sure it was okay for us to travel to the mountains of WV. So thankful that we were all healthy and it was a very small gathering this year but there was still lots and lots of love. Uncle Kenny gifted Luke a new gun! Oh man! Luke was thrilled and Kenny is the absolute BEST teacher!
Isn't this T-shirt the greatest?! I love it so much!
We had fantastic weather while in WV so there were lots of hikes in the woods and campfires and football in the backyard.
Back home for the holidays! We found a tree (not an easy task again this year) and spent a Friday night with bowls of chicken chili, Christmas music, and tree decorating. My parents always collect Christmas ornaments on their travels and we have adopted that same tradition. We LOVE remembering all the places we have been and the stories that go along with them. We took our time and talked and talked. Love
Winter hiking here at home! We often take half a day on a weekend and hit the woods. It is family time, it is outdoor time, it is wandering and wondering at its finest. The woods, the trails, the adventure is our happy place
A while ago we made a quick afternoon trip to see Daney and James and Evelyn. Oh my goodness, little E is a talking machine and oh so fun to be with! We had the best time!!! Look at these two!!!
Teaching Evelyn the art of rock throwing. Ha!! A necessary skill.
That face!! I could not love her more!
So, Team Tully is wishing you a wonderful holiday season!! We will be focused on family and all the good. Being good, doing good, and recognizing all the good out there. It will be a quiet holiday but one full of LOVE. Happy Holidays from us to you!
