Fall Days

 Hey y'all!  We are here, we are well, we are in the rhythm of school and work and family dinners and weekend fun and/or projects.  My very favorite time of year has arrived...the mornings are chilly, the afternoons sunny, and the evenings are perfect for a light blanket and a good book.  I love it!!!  The Carolina blue sky graces most every day and we wander more and play til dark.  Welcome to how Team Tully does fall!

I took this crew of boys hiking one Saturday and we had the best time!!

6 hours of wandering, playing, getting beyond filthy, laughing, climbing, rock skipping, little boy discussions, and just so much JOY!

 The crew!  Just some packed lunches, time, and a trail....three ingredients for an amazing day!

A quick trip to PA to see Mit, Molly, J, and H! These two could take their Chinese Yo-Yo show on the road!

Fall days at the creek

A brief getaway east to a cotton lined trail, time, friendship, laughter and love!  I met up with my dear friend Lisa and we talked and laughed for hours and hours and hours.  Good for the soul!

It's science project time!  Ugh.  I actually really dislike science projects but Luke chose an interesting one so it wasn't too terrible.  He tested various filtration methods for drinking water and determined the most effective. 

I almost had a "mom fail" in the world of pumpkin carving.  Our little town had a bit of a pumpkin shortage but I found one in the final hour.  Phew!

Luke recently started a new book and came out to show L and I the dedication at the beginning...this is perfectly us!!!!  I read the stories and L tells them.  Too cute!

Halloween 2020

This kid caught this fish (a bull redfish) ALL. BY. HIMSELF.  From casting to bringing it boatside he did it all!!  Incredible!

It is over half his height!  Shesh has never been so proud!

After school at the beach!  You can't beat it!

We are ALWAYS so thankful to be able to spend time in this beautiful place where simply running on the dunes along the marshes makes for an afternoon of fun!
