A December morning sunrise on my early morning dog walk.
Our Food Lion Christmas tree has served us well again this year! Not perfect but perfectly festive!
L has passed the tree prep torch
The dogs are "helping" with the tree decorating!
She's a beaut!
Earning his Christmas gifts.
Proud Parents! Luke was inducted into the National Beta Club and we are so proud of his academic success, his leadership, and his commitment to serving others.
The 4th or 5th annual Tully Train Christmas Edition!! Hooray! Such a simple and fun night. The Subaru is transformed into a super cozy sleigh and we make our way around our massive neighborhood checking out the lights! L is in charge of the music and the kids get in their pajamas and get cozy for a nighttime "sleigh ride"
The train ends at our house for hot chocolate and ornament making! I love this tradition and I think the kids do too!
Proud Wife and Proud Son! L ran and finished and did AMAZING in his first MARATHON!!! Marathon! Incredible! He worked so hard and was so determined and he DID IT! A true inspiration and example of setting goals and seeing them through. Absolutely amazing!
The fourth grade teachers arranged for an in-house field trip. A company came in and hosted "Colonial Day" for the fourth graders. It. Was. Fantastic!!! What a wonderful experience for these kids. So lucky! I was able to help out and I was a part of the leather bound journal making station. A trip back in time and an education by experience...the best kind!
We hosted a Christmas "Lateover". ( a late over is a genius idea from my dear friend Steph....all the goodness of a sleepover without the actual sleep (or lack thereof!)). The neighborhood gang arrived at 6 and left at 9. Pizza dinner, a clubhouse gift exchange, a candy cane hunt, a scavenger hunt, pin the stocking on the mantle, and a movie. An AWESOME night!
A great group of friends!
The lateover was Friday night, this was Saturday night. Dinner and a movie on the couch. We have been making our way through all the Christmas movie classics!
Cookies with the Kelley Family! Hooray! I always think of Amie and Poppa on cookie making day...their cut out recipe is our go to. Christmas traditions lasting generations...a lovely thing!
The dads got REALLY into it!!
We can't forget our dog family members. Jasper holds onto Luke's pjs while Luke is in the shower. This is a nearly nightly occurrence.
Afternoon run around/tug of war! Jasper doesn't always win either!
Luke gets home at 3pm. I read from 2:30 until 3pm. This is my daily view. Love these boys!
Charlie is a good little helper on linen washing day!
I am certain that there will be more holiday goodness to share but until then.....have a VERY Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from our family to yours!!
