Christmas at Mit and Molly's! We are so glad to have them home and we LOVED seeing photos and hearing about their adventure in London. What an amazing experience for them all!
J = 10.5
L = 9.5
H = 8
Everyone except Daney and James. They decided to stay close to home this year while waiting for their newest arrival!
We LOVE this crew! And Charlie was returned safe and sound! They were SO excited to have their furry family member home!
Team Tully! Molly was making L and I laugh hysterically so that explains my extra chin and L's scrunched face. Luke's smile can be attributed to taking 17,000 family photos. Ha! Jasper is stoic perfection.
These kids are the BEST!
L posing with his new Christmas gift....that he found....in someone's trash.
Boom! Our last 2 grills have been trash finds and now it is a game to see how long we can keep this tradition going.
Christmas Eve brunch with our dear friends and neighbors! One of my favorite parts about the holidays.
Family gingerbread house decorating (thank you G and P!!). Not to worry...as usual these two took a good portion of the icing and poured it directly into their mouths.
Christmas Morning! All 5 of us in bed going through our stockings. :-) I love love love how slow we take things on Christmas morning. Bless Luke and his old soul for savoring every little minute. Love.
Luke got a bike with gears! A big deal in our hilly neighborhood.
Back to Mit and Molly's. They got a pool table and it was lots of fun! We even had a pool tournament, that Mit won.
Aunt Daney and Uncle James got J and H a karaoke machine. HILARIOUS!
Risk. Talk about patience. You notice who is not playing?? ME
It snowed! It snowed for about 10 minutes but I was quick to get Jasper and his tennis ball out in it! This dog LOVES the cold weather!
Nest making
Warming their toes after nest making
HA! These dogs are living their best lives!! We split up the drive north and stayed in a pet friendly hotel. The dogs really took advantage of this and Sheshy encouraged it
Me and my big brother - more in common than not. Love
These two!! HA!!!!! Milking the photo session for all it's worth.
Miss H and Uncle L
We made fun of her outfit but she can definitely play pool! She knocked L out of the tournament in the first round.
Sheshy was requested nightly to serve ice cream....he doesn't understand portion control....and the kids know this. :-)
There was a lot of this on our drive home!
Daney and James, Coby and Maddie! We went to their house before Christmas to take part in a tradition of James' ....we each selected a favorite food and we dined on all our favorites. Luke chose biltong jerky, I chose cheesecake, L chose a baked potato bar, Daney chose mac and cheese, and James chose Chickfila nuggets. Can you say carbfest?!?! But oh so delicious!!!
Luke was invited to lunch at the firehouse with these kiddos and tours of the firehouse, the trucks, and even some hands on fun!
Serious water power!
In the last week or so that we had Charlie I went kind of photo crazy. I just wanted to try to capture their relationship. Simply the best!
A sunny Sunday afternoon
They had lots of playtime at Daney's and this is how they rested...Charlie curled up and Jasper resting his head on Charlie. Adorable.
Christmas at the lake! An Egypt book for our budding Egyptologist
What a fun day with these two! They are now just weeks away from becoming parents to a baby girl!!
A Christmas Day walk. Look how tall Luke is getting! Crazy. Our day was spent playing and riding and wandering and being grateful. Merry Christmas to us!
Not staged! The very best of friends!
We really did have a holiday season full of Joy and Love and for that we are grateful! Life has gotten back into a routine and there is joy in that as well. The air is crisp and I love the newness that January brings. Here's to a happy and healthy 2019!!
