Wild and Wonderful

Wild and Wonderful in West Virginia!!  We spent our Thanksgiving in West Virginia with the Tully family.  We so enjoyed our time there, it was full of fun and food and outside time and the opportunity to be helpful.  Good for the soul!  Papaw broke his ankle and had surgery some time ago and he is still in recovery mode so we were able to help him and Granny with lots of different things.  They were more than appreciative and it was a good life lesson for Luke that helping is always the right thing to do.  We celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas while there and we felt lucky.  Lucky to be part of such a loving family.

Luke turned Papaw's scooter into a toy!

There is always manual labor to be done.  He loves this kind of stuff!

Our work even included a makeshift barber shop!  HA!

Bonfires are a definite WV highlight

It got even bigger than this!!

"Christmas" morning!
Thank you to G and P for such a great weekend!  We love you!

Meanwhile...these two were "helping" Ima and Sheshy with their holiday exterior illumination and....

... enjoying the beach!  Thank you to I and S for their canine love and being willing to watch these two BFFs.  We love you!

Speaking of Wild and Wonderful life has been wild and fun and busy here and we are now fully into the holiday season which is always full of fun events and special traditions.  Here are just a few (extra)ordinary moments....

There is a bird stuck in the screened-in porch. It took both of them quite a while to get it out.

They could lay anywhere in the backyard but they choose to be side by side.  Love!

These two upgraded the lizard tank

The anoles get daily playtime with the neighborhood gang

There are 4 of these now. They all have food related names.

The neighborhood gang on scooter patrol!

Charlie is just one of the guys!

The first day of Thanksgiving break led to over 3 hours of mountain biking and "building sweet jumps" in the woods.

L hand delivering Charlie to the car for his trip to the beach!

Team Tully's annual tradition of kicking off the holiday season with a four mile run through a local park's holiday lights display.  So Much Fun!!

Sweet Jasper has a case of the Mondays. Love him!

I am sure there will be lots of holiday goodness to share in the coming days!  Happy Holidays to you all!!
