We have had such a lucky year....we have gotten together with the cousins three times so far! Yay! We typically only get to see them twice a year but the stars aligned and we met up a few weeks ago in PA to spend some quality time together. L had a very important and long meeting so he wasn't able to join but I am thankful that Luke and I were able to spend our L-less time with family. We loved every minute!
An afternoon exploring the Delaware River
Aunt Molly and Uncle Mit were in charge of kid nabbing as the kids rode the hefty current downstream. Quite the workout!
A different day at a local creek. I'm telling you...kids, rocks, and water - endless entertainment.
LOVE this kid!
Deep Thoughts by Jeffrey and Luke
A local creamery...the Madame leading the discussion. :-)
A hometown amusement park! Love this place!
Look at that fantastic crew!
This picture will be a forever favorite. It is hard to see but the facial expressions on the three kiddos are absolutely priceless. One ride - three different experiences. :-)
Hallie often grabbed for Luke's hand...90% of the time he let her. Love.
Very hard to see but three very brave kiddos and one awesome Aunt riding the flume!
My hometown. Felt good to be back
The Tastee!!!! Such fantastic memories of my very first job! The place looks fantastic and Marg is the same kind, generous, and happy lady she has always been. She is still also the boss and made me make my entire family's order! Ha! The kids got to help make their own cones and my brother spared me nothing by ordering a very rare item - brothers. Ha! It was wonderful being back and being able to share this part of my childhood with Luke. So very thankful for such great people in my life.
Reptileland! Nothing like a dinosaur that squirts water at you. Check out the cousin barricade! Poor J - sometimes being the oldest carries some protection responsibilities. :-)
Alligator petting
A day at the house doing this....HILARIOUS! They all had stage names and antics. These are the moments that make me smile ear to ear.
So Awesome!
Our visit ended with an elongated time in the Philadelphia airport (trying to make our way to Nashville) due to delays and such but as always Luke is the BEST little traveler we could ask for. We walked miles around the airport, played with his toy snake along the seats, and made plans for our next adventure.....Time in Tennessee! Stay tuned.....
