Spring Break/Easter 2014

Luke's spring break was packed with friends, family, and fun!  We started the week with park playdates and time with friends.  Then we headed north to visit Mit, Molly, and the kids!  A big thanks to Ima for sharing the ride and the fun with us!  What a huge help!  Luke misses his cousins all the time and was so very excited to go to "Jeffrey's REAL house".  I told him the day before that we would be leaving early the next morning to go see Jeffrey and Hallie and he said; "Yay!  I am so excited that it makes my heart jump."  Hahaha, now that is LOVE!

We had a wonderful time and we thank Mit and Molly again for their hospitality and awesomeness!

J had school one morning so Luke and H got to have some time to play together!  They decided it was nocturnal day and Luke spent the morning as a bat and H as a kitty.  Their relationship is simply priceless!!

A snacktime full of chatter.

Thanks to Ima and Sheshy for the pre-Easter goodies!

Always book time :-)

A chilly morning hike in a beautiful park.

Geology time with Uncle Mit!

Cleaning and prepping a 1,000 year old bison skull!  What lucky kiddos!

Ya know, just chillin' on a Friday afternoon with an Apatosaurus leg bone!

Flume time

One of Uncle Mit's students stops to show the kids how to polish a rock...they were SUPER impressed!

Rocket Time!  A trip highlight that we have discussed every day since!

Rocket class is in session
Luke's turn to launch

I remember Uncle Mit doing exactly this many years ago!  Always in hopes of catching it on the way down.

We were home in time for the Easter Bunny to visit our house and Luke was thrilled!  L and Granny and Papaw made Easter happen this year and we are so very thankful!!

Perfect basket treats and a very happy Mr. Luke!
