Christmas - Party of Four!

We traveled our very first Christmas with Luke and he was only 6 months old.  I remember our drive home...almost simultaneously L and I looked at each other and said "never again".  We LOVE being with family and we LOVE that Luke is coveted but Christmas morning is for us...our nuclear family and all it means to us.  Selfish?  Maybe.  But it feels right and that is all that matters.  So here is our family Christmas.

Ready for the Big Guy!

Luke insisted on Ima "reading" to him first.  Too cute!

We had a really simple Christmas this year, just a few things from L and I (Star Wars Legos, a new car track, a book, and a pattern making game) and some dear family friends and the grandparents added to the pile.  We are THANKFUL!

A beefstick!  A Santa staple!

Santa's big gift - a new car track

An ode to Gram - Monkey Cake!!

Thank you Gonzalez Family!  The yard worms are already shaking in their ...  ???  Skin?

Thank you Granny and Papaw for my new aqua-station!!

It's the simple things!

This picture will forever make me smile.  Luke chose this blue and white striped stuffed fish at the dollar store for Riggs and Riggs promptly dug into it.  Luke was THRILLED and hopped around like crazy!  Love these two!

Thank you Bochat Family for knowing the perfect gift.

A pattern making whiz!

The aftermath of a fantastic Christmas!  It was truly Merry and Bright!
