The Holiday Season

There is nothing like Christmas vacation to jam your schedule full of friends, family, and fun holiday traditions!  Luke has had quite a few days off of school and we have been in the holiday spirit since Thanksgiving.  Christmas with a kid is THE BEST!

Gingerbread duty with the men!

Not the best picture but I wanted it on record that these two built this and played with it for over an hour!  We are marble run lovers in this house!

A twin-tastic time!  Easing out a FANTASTIC playdate with some video time.

Luke was a Shepherd in his school's Christmas program....with angel Mallory by his side.  Shades of Mit...I had NO idea that he was a featured performer...no idea.  I watched him stroll out in his costume just like the rest of the audience...you would think he would give his own mother a head's up...nope!

Happy Birthday, Paul!

A school made handprint Christmas tree shirt...so cute!

My attempt at dog shaming!  Riggs has taken to stealing Luke's train tracks and eating them!!  Just another lesson in cleaning up toys before bedtime.  :-)

Fun Friday night with our favorite ladies!  Pinecone Christmas trees, a Christmas science experiment, hide and seek, pizza, popcorn, and a movie!

Love them!!!

Thank you to the Shoulders Family for this gem!  What a great activity!

Luke's very first sleepover with friends!  He made it!!

2nd annual Tochat family cookie decorating :-)

Luke gets a gymnastics medal and an extra shout out for good listening!!

Neighborhood art gallery

The Mr. and I head to a work holiday party!  Thanks to Aunt Daney!  It was so refreshing to be among the working world again.

This year's masterpiece.

2nd annual Christmas Eve "dinner" with family!  We toasted to our friendship and to living life together.  We are blessed to have each other!

Instead of exchanging family gifts this year we picked names for a Secret Santa swap.  The rule was that it needed to be created...no big budgets.  Mallory made Luke four ADORABLE ninja turtle ornaments.  Perfection!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS!
