Team Tully spent more time celebrating the holiday season at Daney's new house with all the Sunderlins! It was a fantastic couple of days and we loved loved LOVED being with everyone! Luke is still talking about his time with Jeffrey and Hallie and he misses them so. We are hoping for a spring trip up north to hang out again.
I borrowed a mini bounce house from a friend and we certainly put it to good use!
A gorgeous park to feed the ducks
A picnic lunch for three!
L's version of heaven
While Hallie napped the boys constructed gingerbread houses! Luckily more candy was used to decorate than consumed.
Gorgeous and oh so blessed!
The kids rally around Aunt Daney! She is a superstar in their book!
Uncle L :-)
Sweet Hallie and her new BFF, Butterscotch
The table conversations should have been recorded, I love these kids!
So awesome!
Molly took this picture....we LOVE it! The last photo of the day...Luke with a fake smile plastered on his face, Jeffrey bored to tears, and Hallie questioning her "separate the boys" lot in life.
Hahahahahaha!!! So many things wrong with this picture!!! (Thanks to Ima for capturing this special moment). ;-)
We had to put a limit on the number of shrimp these boys could eat...geez!!
Holiday hiking
You guessed it, a geocache!
We had such a wonderful weekend and it makes me smile to think of the memories these kids are creating and the joy they get out of being together! Their relationships are fantastic and they are so good to each other. Family forever!
We left Daney's in time to get back so that my two favorite boys (the human ones) could head out to a basketball game to cheer on the Thundering Herd! Luke had an awesome time and L was on cloud nine with his night out with his son! (I also thoroughly enjoyed being home alone!!).
A big shout out to Daney for opening her home to all of us! It was a Christmas for the memory books and we are now off to a great New Year! As always we resolve to BE PRESENT each and every day! Happy New Year!!
