In early February I hosted a Favorite Things party and invited some of my favorite people. What a blast! Here is how it worked: Each person brought 5 of their favorite thing - five of the same favorite thing and each was not to cost more than 6.00 (therefore people would be spending 30.00 or less). Everybody's name was written five times and thrown into the bowl. When someone presented their favorite thing she drew five names from the bowl (not choosing her own name and not the same person twice) and those five people received that item. So.....you came with five of your favorite thing and you left with five different favorite things! Yay! I provided the location and the beverages and everyone who came brought either a favorite appetizer or a favorite dessert. Yum yums galore!!! It really was so much fun and so interesting to see what people chose as their favorite things! Are you just dyyyyying to know what my favorite thing was....here comes a shocker....my favorite thing was the industrial sized KETCHUP!!! No joke. It went over really well.
Here are the five things I was presented:
1. A blank canvas and paintbrush
2. Gummi Bears and a mammoth Toblerone
3. Chocolate covered pomegrante seeds....oh my heavens! Where have these been all my life?
4. Dr. Pepper lip gloss, vitamin water, and cappuccino
5. A 6.00 gift card to a fabulous local bakery
Yellow yellow everywhere...my favorite! Also, my FAVORITE dog!!
I made gift bags for everyone to take their new items home in...the tags read "Thank you for being one of my favorites!"
