Holy moly we have been busy!! Wowzers! I do LOVE a full calendar but at the same time I need to try and find more time for lazy days and a movie or two.
We have been extra busy and active with the moms group. I adore these women and it is so refreshing to be surrounded with caring, understanding, positive, and fun women and kiddos.
Here is how the last couple of weeks have gone!
A fire station tour! Pretty much the best thing ever for a little boy. Please excuse the blurry picture...it was pretty awesome for me too! The firemen were so fantastic with the kids and really let them do a lot. We gathered at the end to reiterate to the kids how grateful we are and should be that these men and women do what they do!
Group photo taken by Fireman Sam! Seriously, I don't care how tough you are...when you see 20+ kids under the age of four you tremble a bit but they did a great job!
Ahhhhhh....can you hear my HUGE sigh of relief?!?! Luke has gone from being costume crazed to this fox shirt crazed! Hallelujah! Now...we just need to figure out the next obsession before it gets too much warmer. ;)
Next up...a tour of Coldstone Creamery! An exclusive invitation to wander the freezers and make an entire batch of ice cream! Such a great morning spent with the owner of our local Coldstone. He was wonderful with the kids and even chose a crowd pleasing "cotton candy" ice cream to make from scratch!
Spoons ready to get the ice cream directly out of the machine. Eyes were wide and mouths were watering!
VERY happy customers!!
Boys Only picnic lunch! Love these little men. :)
My favorite lunch date!
Sweet Daniel turned four and his two requests were a morning at Chuck E. Cheese and that Luke be there! So cute! We were honored to celebrate with our best buddy!
This cracks me up! It looks like Daniel can hardly believe what Luke is talking about.
And we round out our weeks with Saturday afternoons at the park! You just can't beat it!
We have another busy week on our calendar but we wouldn't have it any other way!!
