We "Heart" Sarasota!

Team Tully spent a couple of days in Sarasota visiting with Ima and Sheshy and we had a great time!  Sheshy was giving his annual talks at a lovely hotel (probably a little too lovely and fancy for a 19 month old but no one said anything!) and it is such a short drive from home that we decided to join them.  It was wonderful!  The sun was shining and we got to hang out at the pool, the marina, the beach, the aquarium, and even do some shopping!  What a gorgeous place!  L and I are hoping to get back sometime soon, there is just so much to do and see. (Sheshy has the pictures from our beach day so I will post them some other time).

Sidenote:  this was Luke's first time staying in a hotel and overall he did a great job!  He has yet to master an "inside voice" but he took to the gorgeous view from our room right away!  (we looked right out onto the marina and the Gulf of Mexico!).  I hope he doesn't think every hotel room we stay in is going to be like this one....he is in for a very rude awakening!

A famous statue at the entrance to the Sarasota Marina.  There really is no better place to stand...unfortunately!

The marina with our hotel in the background.

 Luke's favorite:  DOLPHINS!

This picture was taken for various reasons:  1. it is a nice scene  2. L says there aren't enough pictures of me 3. Luke is asleep...asleep not in his crib or the carseat...asleep in the stroller...in the mid-morning...unbelievable.  Number 3 is the largest reason for the picture.

A quiet Monday morning on the water.

A playground with views of the Gulf - hello little boy paradise!

Fresh air, fresh off a mid-morning nap, fresh slide (meaning he had never been here before), freshly finished with some grapes, and a fresh diaper...life is good!

Thanks again to Ima and Sheshy for sharing your beautiful Sarasota with us!
