Christmas 2010: Rounds 2 and 3!!

Okay, so blogspot is giving me chronological issues so I apologize for the randomness of what follows!  It doesn't really matter though because all you need to know is that we had a fantastic holiday season and we hope you all did too!  Here are some photos from our quiet Christmas Day and our visit from Granny (aka "Danny" ) and Papaw!

"All Aboard!"  Luke and Papaw took a ride on a train at the zoo. Papaw scored Luke an awesome seat as the engineer!

Don't worry, it's not real! Although if it was real he would probably be trying to give it a kiss...he wanted to "pet" a bee yesterday!  Our little animal lover needs to understand that not every living thing wants to be patted and hugged! :)

Granny showing Luke a spider...he of course wanted to pet it but Granny has great reflexes!  :)
Just proof that we were at the zoo. Isn't this how you feel somedays?!

All the boys at work!  Thanks again to Papaw for all of his handy work over the visit!  We ALWAYS have a to do list for Papaw!

Granny and Papaw got Luke awesome gifts!  He is absolutely in love with his garbage truck!  He would unwrap his gifts, crumple the paper, and put it in the garbage truck....too cute! He also carries his new Mickey everywhere...Mickey made his first trip to the grocery store this afternoon.

Granny is the queen of the oranges and grapefruits.  She and Luke picked lots and lots and LOTS of oranges.  They will be on a citrus binge for weeks!

We went to the Children's Museum downtown and Luke had a great time.  We all just got to sit back and watch him play and learn and be a kid.  I love this place just as much as Luke does!  We had a picnic lunch outside along the river! (The last day of the year and we were having a picnic lunch...you just cannot beat FL in the winter!)
Captain Luke steering the boat.  He is getting ready for our cruise in about a month!  We are SO excited!

A little Christmas morning lawn mowing!  Santa brought Luke a lawn mower and our grass has been mowed everyday since!
Luke's first remote control car.  He is still getting used to it but the concentration is priceless.

Thank you Uncle Mit and Aunt Molly!  Beautiful music is being made :)

Santa was up for a few hours on Christmas Eve making these blocks but that smile is worth every fold!

We don't have any pictures from our Christmas Day lunch with the Polk family but we had a fantastic time!  The food was delicious and the company wonderful.  We thank them for being so gracious and fun!

We are truly blessed to have so many friends and family who love us (near and far), thank you all for being a part of our wonderful 2010!  We are hopeful that 2011 brings more cherished memories and exciting adventures!  Happy New Year!
