My mom has graciously offered to make curtains for the nursery, thanks mom!! So, we (mom and I) have been on a fabric hunt. L and I live in an area where fabric stores are more common than gas stations (funny but also totally true!). The Amish and Mennonite population is very high here and they are wonderful seamstresses and all around do-it-yourselfers. A fabric searcher's paradise! My mom and I went to lots of fabric stores in the area, some so big that I had to hydrate myself to get from one end of the store to the other. It was a full day of wandering in a previously unknown land - who knew 54" was a little out of the ordinary for a fabric?! Anyway, when all was said and done we did find a fabric that I just loved and would work perfect for our little one. And....I ordered it from New York!! Ridiculous...I know.
