"Grandparents create memories that the heart holds forever." This quote is so very true! Ima and Shesh hosted the three older grandkids (Jeffrey = 14, Luke = 13, and Hallie = 11.5) for about 5 days. They are selfless, generous, kind, fun, creative, and the most loving people! Jeffrey, Luke, and Hallie (as well as Evelyn and Amelia) are the LUCKIEST kids in the world to have Ima and Sheshy as not only grandparents but as role models.
Before we headed to our next adventure all three families gathered in HH and we met up there again when our adventure was over before all heading to our respective homes. HH will forever be a home base for each of us. My siblings and I consider it our second home and we are very aware of how much Hilton Head means to our parents. Their "happy place" is also ours and also our children's. Generations of fun and love and memories. We are so very thankful for them, this place, and the memories it holds and will continue to foster.
Ima is forever creative and the kids are making signs for each family for their cruise ship door!
So. Much. Fishing. Pond fishing, lake fishing, shark fishing. They love it all, Luke especially was thrilled!
