Is This Thing On?!

Here we are!!!  We have been here but we have been BUSY!  Life is running at a fast clip these days and we are just trying to hold on tight!  We all could use a break and a reset but we are pluggin' away the best we can.  In fact, the only reason I have time to blog today is that an appointment to get our car looked at was cancelled so I didn't have to go across town for that.  Geez.  Feast or famine, my friends.  Feast or Famine.  Subtitles will have to do today.  Welcome to our world!

We had a "snow" day!  (We did see flakes, for about 10 minutes, in the air, never on the ground, the south's overly dramatic response to cold precipitation will never cease to amaze me). 3 boys, 8+ hours, no actual snow.  We made the best of it!

"snow" day exhaustion.  hilarious.

Our frogs died.  On the same day.  Weird.  Luke is taking them to their burial service.  There is a headstone and all.

Some things are better left un-captioned!  :-)

A rainy weekend led to silly family antics.  Sliding down the stairs on couch cushions.  We all did it.  L and I were sore, Luke was not.

We watched the Super Bowl!  We were THRILLED with the result!  Fly Eagles Fly!
(this is Jasper's thrilled face)

Homemade Slime.  They have the recipe down pat.

Luke had the amazing opportunity through his school to go so the Philharmonic Orchestra AND to PLAY with the Philharmonic Orchestra!  How awesome is that?!  He and his classmates worked hard to learn songs on their recorders so that they could play with the members of the orchestra.  So lucky! (Jasper wasn't invited)

Just because they are wearing ties (expect the little one) doesn't mean they aren't silly! :-)

Luke is playing basketball.  It's hilarious.  His coach is awesome and he is having fun!  Go Panthers!

If you look closely you can see that Luke is holding my hand!  Precious moments to be remembered!

Valentine's Day in the Tully house! Love

Spring has sprung.  That groundhog doesn't know a thing!

If anyone wants this salsa recipe that the boys made up they will send it to you!  Delicious! Secret ingredient is grass.  Yum!!

A half day of school means lots of afternoon "challenges"!  Little boys are BUSY!

His favorite place to study.

Jasper's 4 day playdate!  So much fun and two very tired pups by day 4. :-)
