Father's Day seems to not get as much airtime as Mother's Day. I'm not entirely sure why. In this house we hold equal places and so Luke and I always try to make a special day for L to let him know how much we love, adore, appreciate, and respect him. He is the greatest Dad! He is patient, he is kind, he is the rounded corners to my jagged edges. He shares so many special qualities and interests with Luke. They are definitely two peas in a pod and I tell L each and every year on Father's Day that I hope with all of my heart that Luke turns out to be just like him!
Golf practice fell on Father's Day weekend and L was quick to take our little golfer out to the links.
L has Father's Day requests each year and like my Mother's Day requests they are almost always the same....Hiking and Wings. Done and Done.
