Come On Down!!! ..... and other stuff

Hopefully you read the title of this post like Bob Barker would! Yep, yours truly went to see the Price is Right! Nope, not in California. Right here in our hometown. Holla! It was the Price is Right Live! tour and it was AWESOME! I didn't win a darn thing but my friends and I had SO MUCH FUN! Never in my life have I been so invested in a stranger's life. Never have I ever been so excited when someone I don't know won a trip to Las Vegas...seriously, my eyes teared up! It was a happy fest with 2,000 people! Lots of shouting and laughing and smiling! I was even on my feet shouting "Lower" when someone tried to bid $4.00 on a bottle of ketchup (if I know anything it is how much ketchup costs).

Look how excited we are! Homemade name tags because we opted not to show up three hours early for real ones. 2 side notes: 1. we will TOTALLY show up three hours early next time and 2. we got a good half dozen compliments on our diy name tags.

Drew Carey was not the host...maybe he is on vacation? Anyway, I was THRILLED with the "celebrity" host and I was on my feet cheering. Meanwhile, my two friends were not nearly as starstruck as me. L1: "Do you seriously know who that is?" L2: "Why are you so excited? He doesn't even have a Funky Bunch!"

Mark Walberg!!! (no, not THAT Mark Walberg). But this Mark Walberg! He is the host of Antiques Roadshow on PBS. We only get 9 television channels and 2 of those 9 are PBS. We love some Antiques Roadshow! I was thrilled to be in the presence of this man. Starstruck!
