It's Been a While

Spring has sprung and Team Tully is extremely busy and life has been oh so full of family and friends and rainy days and sunny adventures.  This time of year always brings thoughts of renewal and change and gratefulness for just how vivid and colorful our life is!

L and I celebrated our anniversary with pineapple, Kona coffee, talks of the past and ideas for the future, and cards...the SAME cards.   Love...pure and simple....Love.

Riggs making sure if I go somewhere he will be the first to know about it.  He is better, he is holding steady, he is strong, he is resilient, he is a blessing!

We spent a portion of our spring break in PA with the Sunderlin crew!  Man oh man did we have an awesome time!  Their new home is gorgeous, the yard and space is to die for and it was such a pleasure to just let the kids roam, to wander, to play.  They were outside more than they were inside.  Family is the greatest!!

Cousins and best buds!

A 5:30AM Lego session!

A lesson in airplane launching.  :-)

Sweet and hilarious Hallie!

These conversations are truly priceless.

I would love to have this same picture taken in the years to come.  Love these ages!

Rocket launching bonanza with Uncle Mit.

My three favorite book worms!  Thank you to Aunt Molly for the incredible voices. :-)

Hard at work in the geology lab.  And a big thanks to Mit for inviting me to a geology lecture.  It was fantastic and brought me back to my academic days and reminded me about all of the mysteries this planet still has!  An hour spent discussing erratic boulders in Patagonia was good for my soul! :-)

Egg dyeing and a hilarious Aunt Molly! (at least hilarious to Luke) :-)

Helping?  Ha!

I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed just being together!!  Love!

Meanwhile....

This one was in beach heaven with Sheshy!

Home in time for a very Happy Easter!

I have mentioned before that school breaks take on a whole new meaning.  We spent part of our spring break in PA and we spent the other part doing life the way it was before Luke started school.  It was so awesome for me to have my sidekick back for a zoo day, long mornings at the library, mid afternoon stories, neighborhood walks and rides, lunch dates, cooking together, and porch chats.  I loved every second!  It was a glimpse backwards at the times we had daily before he started K but it was also a wonderful glimpse into our summer when my best guy and I will be together.  I cannot wait!!!
