A Fall Farm Day

I am part of a lovely and fun and creative moms group and our fall outing was to a farm out in the country in which we almost needed a new axle after driving on the road that got us there!  It was worth it and we had a great time...plus it was on a weekend so Daddy could join in the fun!

Waiting patiently to hold chickens and bunnies.  Thank goodness L was here.  As most of you know...I am not all that interested in birds or rodents (is a bunny even a rodent?!  Not sure, but to clarify...I am not into bunnies either).  :)

Luke on the other hand is all about any animal...no matter the size, smell, or icky qualities.

Ya know...just like any old Saturday...feeding a donkey.

Part of the tour was to do a "pumpkin hunt".  These people weren't kidding around!  Luke loved it and got the biggest pumpkin in the haystack.

As I have mentioned before...in our nomad life I have really come to enjoy, love, and depend on my mom's group.  Such fantastic people who love their kids, their families, and their frienships!
