HHI - Part Deux - Portraits and Bugs

Let me start by saying that L was behind the camera in all of these.  :(  Sheshy and Mit have the attempts at a Tully family photo on their cameras so stay tuned for that. Whenever we are all together (which is way harder to accomplish than it sounds) we try to pose for some family portraits.  It never goes as planned, I would like to just say that this year it was our dear, sweet, fickle child that was the "fussy britches" of the group.  It was our turn in the rotation though so we kind of figured it was coming.

Let's start at the top with the patriarch and matriarch of the S family.  Ima and Sheshy.  They are loved, admired, emulated, and respected beyond measure!!

Let's be honest...the S kids are who we are because of them!

Keem, Mit, and Daney (otherwise known as Kim, David, and Elaine)

What a gorgeous family!

J and H

Luke could only be calmed by giving him a job.  He was told to give H some shells and that kept him from realizing he was staged in a photo.

This was taken about 1 second after the previous picture.  A horseshoe crab was spotted and well, you just can't compete with that.

 A beach babe!

Aunt Daney and H.

Flying to Africa ... obviously.  Please notice how well Daney is playing along.  :)

"Uncle L, take a picture of me because I am the pilot!"

Cousin Conference

Luke's 2nd Birthday!  A bug-tastic time!!

I had each adult member of the family decorate a cupcake(s) with their chosen bug.  So much can be said by who did what:  L and Ima did the most realistic looking bugs.  K, Daney, and Molly did the fun/slightly cartoonish ones.  Sheshy did the spider (top center - just in case you couldn't tell - sorry Shesh).  And Mit did the trilobite.  It is like a personality test via cupcakes.  :)

And the winner is.....Molly!  Luke chose Molly's fun and whimsy bee for his birthday treat.

Me and the birthday boy!  We ate on the floor as to not exclude Luna from the celebration - she did a fine job licking up the scraps.

 Present time

A perfect ending to a perfect trip and birthday - the boys out collecting bugs!

We are so thankful for such an amazing family!!  Love Love Love!
