Luke at 7 months:
- has 2 teeth...front bottom...he knows how to use them too...ouch!
- takes 2 naps a day
- still loves loves loves to be outside
- will not eat a bean to save his life
- loves asparagus
- thinks the telephone ringing is the funniest thing in the world
- loves Riggs more than Riggs loves him
- actually jumps in the Johnny Jump Up (instead of just standing and spinning)
- graduated (with a podium and ribbon ceremony) from the "Bug" class at the gym. L and I
have never been so proud.
- is eating finger foods - mostly Cheerios at this point because he would rather crush any other
offering (i.e. carrots, potatoes, bananas, etc.) than eat it.
- is babbling like a crazy man (babbling currently involves the consonants B, D, M, G and most
of the vowels. It also involves an enormous amount of slobber and ocassional bubble).
- has got the crawl position down pat...moves backwards like a champ but has yet to go
forward despite L's daily crawling instruction time.
- a big motion accomplishment is that Luke can get from his belly into a sitting position!
- tries to ruin peek-a-boo by searching everywhere for me before I get to actually peek-a-boo
- his favorite destination is the grocery store because now he can sit in the cart and if I am not
being careful enough he can reach the items on the shelves causing a scene and quite a
few smiles while his mom picks up boxes of rice off the aisle floor.
