The Best Parents in the World!!!

For real, L and I have have the best parents in the entire world!

Let's start with the Tullys. L and I spent our Easter weekend in WV with the Tully clan. It was a fabulous time, full of good country cookin' and warm hearted people. B planned a lovely lovely baby shower for us and it was great to see so many family members that we don't get to see on a regular basis. They were all so generous (especially B and K) and we are so grateful for everything. I even got to meet some aunts that I had not met before so that was extra special. There really is something to be said for small country towns. :) It was a long drive for such a short visit but certainly well worth it. Our little guy is very lucky to be a descendent of such wonderful people.

Meanwhile, back in good old "Ntown" my parents were busy (and I mean BUSY) watching our house, our dog (he is a bit high maintenance), and cleaning our carpets! That is right, my parents spent their Easter weekend (not to mention their birthday weekend) rug doctor-ing our carpets and windex-ing our windows (we have a lot of windows!). They are incredible! Now granted my dad does love a Rug Doctor but still they didn't have to help us but they did and they did so willingly. The place looks amazing and my obesssive compulsive self is relieved to have the carpets baby-ready. They really did an outstanding job and we are thrilled, beyond thrilled actually! Our little guy is very lucky to be a descendent of such wonderful people.
