So, with this whole pregnancy thing comes the undeniable change is one's body shape and size. Right now I seem to be at a crossroads...I am in my 18th week and I can still fit into exactly three pairs of pre-pregnancy pants. Now, I have never been one to worry about wearing the same things over and over but three pairs of pants is starting to get boring. So.....
A little while ago I was shopping for a mattress pad, or a pee pad as L calls it (a whole other story), and came across a sale on maternity pants. I found a cute (for maternity wear) pair of corduroy pants and didn't even try them on. I figured I shouldn't try them on when I wasn't quite big enough...I would just save the receipt and return them if need be. Well, due to my boredom level with my 3 pairs of pants which were becoming increasingly fitted anyway I tried on my new preggo corduroys the other day...weird elastic band and all!
I might never go back to regular pants!!! I am in love, truly, madly, deeply in love! It has been a long time since I have squatted to retrieve some fallen object without yanking up my pants prior to or after the act. They are comfortable and practical - a hard combo to find in the fashion world. And...if that isn't good enough....there is room to grow!
