With the holidays and school break right around the corner I thought I would try to get a November post up before all the festivities and fun and merriness ensues! We are so looking forward to this season of tradition and travel and friends and family! Happy Holidays from Team Tully to all of you!!
Here are some November highlights:
Neighborhood basketball...endlessly. L was needed for 3-on-3...he says "yes" every time!
Gosh, I love the people I work with! Jay and I inadvertently twinning during registration week!
And L loves his work crew just as much! 'Pizza and Professional Development' for the Friday afternoon win! L has made it one of his missions to make sure his students know what is out there in the career world for someone graduating with a degree in geology. He tirelessly advocates and supports and encourages his students. He is the absolute BEST.
We got to celebrate two of our favorite people at their wedding! Meredith and Alvin had the most beautiful combination of cultures in the most beautiful ceremony and reception. It was thoughtful and sweet, full of love, and SO MUCH FUN! These two are just solidly good people and it was our joy and honor to be a part of their special day!
And they had tattoos of their faces for all the guests to enjoy! HA! Amy and I immediately slapped those on! Such a great idea!!
I had to stop at the library one evening to speak with the librarians and where do I find this guy?? The little kid section...building with tiles...a blast from the past...he may be 14 but magna-tiles are timeless.
A Thanksgiving sleepover for the neighborhood crew. So much laughter! I love a full house!
I got to meet up with this beauty in Moncks Corner to visit a monastery. Monks in Moncks Corner - a perfect Saturday!! And time with Lisa fills my heart so very much much! Love you friend!
The tree is up and decorated! We love to reminisce about where all of our ornaments have come from and we retell those same stories every year. Love it!
Different tree in a different place. Team Tully made our way to WV for Thanksgiving and the day after a delicious turkey meal we switched holiday gears to celebrate Christmas with G and P.
We loved our time with G and P - they are kind and generous and just the sweetest!
Nothing like shooting a full soda bottle positioned on top of a pumpkin with a BB gun, while filming it with a slow motion camera setting. This kid comes up with the greatest ideas!
When in Rome.....Ha! Also, we LOVE getting to see Kenny and Pete!
So much mountain backyard basketball!
Let it be known. November 2023. Luke beat me at h.o.r.s.e for the first time ever!! It was bound to happen at some point!
West Virginia sunset Team Tully selfie
A co-worker of mine gifted us 4 tickets to see the USC men's basketball team play. We had the BEST time!! These two basketball lovin' boys were all in and loved every second.
L and I are the only ones game for a family selfie
Amazing seats and we won! A fantastic evening!
I rounded out my November with a 3.5 hour lunch date with one of my very favorite humans, LaShawn, to celebrate her birthday and to just be able to connect without the normal craziness of our schedules. Friendships like ours are priceless! (But, I forgot to get a pic...ugh)
The month of November always sparks added gratitude and as you know we celebrate all the big and small moments in life with joyful and grateful hearts.
So, as we enter the holiday season we want to wish you all a season that is Merry and Bright; full of Love, Laughter, Family, and Friends!
