The ordinary (extraordinary) is what has been filling our days. Living the simple life with our favorite people in our favorite places doing our favorite things with a few projects thrown in for good measure and to keep us on our toes and learning new things. The good life indeed.
Here she is! Yolanda! So healthy and gorgeous and still going strong! She will be 2 years old in about a week's time and we just love her. I just used her to make scones yesterday (a first for me). She keeps us happy and full and I absolutely love the science of it all, the time, the slowness, the simplicity of ingredients...I find my bread making to be soothing and good for the soul.
A new front door has been on my wishlist for a while and we used some Christmas money to finally make the purchase of a much simpler/cleaner lines door with still plenty of light coming through. L and I worked meticulously with measuring and some chiseling to get it hung perfectly. Thankful for my detail oriented husband!!
In addition to a new front door we fixed and replaced some parts in our garage door opener and replaced parts on a toilet. All of sudden we are very handy!!
Luke and I headed a bit north to visit our favorite little ladies (and Daney and James) and we had a great time! (L has the most inconvenient schedule this semester so he wasn't able to join us). Luke showing E a horse in the distance
I mean....how cute is this!
Aunt Kit and my little love bugs!
Luke was definitely in high demand!!!
Little A and Big L!
We always enjoy our time with these two, they are at the cutest ages (3 and 1)!!
