Holiday Highlights 2021 (Volume 1)

It's the holiday season!  Each year it seems to arrive quicker and quicker but here we are!  We have learned a little each holiday season about how to stay away from the "shoulds" but instead be aware of how we really want to spend our time and and what matters most! 

We found this gem of a Christmas tree right before Thanksgiving and we so enjoyed the decorating, each of us having our favorite ornaments.  The wonderful thing about collecting ornaments from places is being able to relive those trips, those experiences each year.  I'm sure it takes us longer than most to decorate our tree but those memories and laughs and discussions are beyond worth it!

Merry and Bright

As always we spent our Thanksgiving in WV with Granny and Papaw.  It was oh so cold this trip so we had to be inside a bit more than usual.  Not to worry, we came prepared with games and activities and we so enjoyed our TIME together!

Uncle Kenny and cousin Pete made sure to spend plenty of time with Luke and even taught him a new strategy game.  They are always so fun to be around and we are thankful for ALL of our West Virginia family!

We are looking forward to the winter break for both L and Luke.  We will wander a bit, get together with family, and have slow, quiet days at home.  We are looking forward to it all!  Stayed tuned for more holiday highlights but until then may your holiday season be Merry, Bright, and full of Love!
