Family Fun and Different Scenery - Good for the Pandemic Soul

Team Tully is fully vaccinated! (well, not Luke)  Hooray!!!  A smooth process for L and I.  First shot a breeze.  The second one hit L with some chills and fatigue.  The second one didn't affect me AT ALL!  Barely even a sore arm.  Superwoman?!  Perhaps. ; - ) Anyway, we have been wandering a bit to visit other vaccinated people and just getting away from our four walls and our daily scenery....good for the soul indeed!

L and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary in a tiny house (smaller than our backyard shed) on the marsh and it was blissful!  We had a the best time just wandering and talking and sharing that comfortable silence.  We talked about the past, present, and future and how grateful we are for it all!  The good life!

Love this beach!  Equal parts beautiful and complex and eerie.

My very favorite person!

Sunrise from a marsh swing!  You can't beat it.
We sat in these two chairs for HOURS. Love

We retrieved Luke from a weekend with his grandparents but first some dune jumping shenanigans!  I tell Luke all the time how lucky he is to have the super awesome Dad he has!

A day trip to visit our favorite little ladies!

Sweet Amelia

The highly anticipated Team Tully Chicken Sandwich Blind Taste Test Challenge...How's that for a title?!

And the winner is.....ZAXBY'S!  A fun dinner on a random Tuesday!

Easter in WV!!  How is this for an egg hunt location!  Luke had to look far and wide for eggs this year!

There's nothing like a boy and a hatchet!  We always have the best time in West Virginia just wandering in the woods.  The weather was absolutely perfect this year and we enjoyed every minute of it!  Granny and Papaw cooked all of our favorite meals and we LOVED spending time with them!

Luke's new hobbies are recreating movie scenes using Legos...this one is from Star Wars Mandalorian.  He is also making some AMAZING stop motion Lego shorts.  So creative!!

This dog.  Living his best beach life!  A HUGE thank you to Ima and Sheshy for keeping Jasper for us over spring break and treating him like the royalty he thinks he is.

Luke and I made a too short trip to HH to pick up Jasper.  A late afternoon beachwalk and selfie for me and my little guy.  Love!

We finished off our very busy spring break with a fishing tournament with friends!  These boys had such a great time!  It had been over a year since they had seen each other so it was extra special!

The flowers are blooming here.  The early mornings and the late evenings are still cool.  Most days are sunny.  And we are healthy.  All good things.  Happy Spring!!!
