How We Roll

The post holiday season is full of routine and chilly weather and basketball and friends and school and weekend adventures.  The in-between, the (extra)ordinary, the small moments that are really the big ones.

We spent nearly every afternoon after school in the woods for about 3 weeks straight.  Endless entertainment and creative play.

 The three muskateers

Working hard on his google presentation about Egypt

A lovely weekend trip to one of our very favorite places, HH!  Our 9 year old and his wandering spirit make me very happy and very proud!

These two dug up clams and mussels and oysters and we brought them home and had them for dinner.  Can't get any more fresh than that!

We have this same picture from when Luke was about 3 years old.  Some things never change.

And a HH staple...fishing with captain Sheshy!

 More woods fort building

Luke and I building sandcastles...you are NEVER too old!

February 7th, it got above 80 degrees, Jasper was hot.

Friday popcorn snack (and kale and oranges but the popcorn is the special treat)

My very favorites!  LOVE

Saturday afternoons are for leaf piles!
