Forgive Me

Here I am!  My endless apologies for my absence in the blogosphere, truly.

This summer has flown by.  I used to hear moms say that and think it was an exaggeration but I get it now, I REALLY get it!!  We have been busy with countless activities, travel, play dates, and adventures and I promise to fill you all in but to be completely honest I can't seem to find the motivation to get to it all, at least not now.  My days are spent with my kid and I LOVE it.  This stage in his life (and mine) is fantastic and I don't want to be away from that.  He is wide eyed and ready for new experiences and embraces meeting new people so we have been soaking up all the chances we can get to really be in the moment.  Not to mention all the lazy pool days that somehow relax and exhaust us.  Now, to keep it completely honest the summer has brought a later bedtime (9ish instead of 8ish) and after I tuck our greatest blessing into bed after spending 14 hours within 5 feet of him all day I just don't want to continue the "Luke fest".  Is that terrible to say?!

However, I have gotten some emails and texts and gentle phone reminders that Team Tully updates and pictures are missed. I am sorry.  I love that you take time out of your day to wander here and check on us, I really do.  Preschool starts soon and I know I will be back in action and bombarding you with photos(Messy Camp 2013 was a picture wonderland) and stories (Luke and I filled an entire rainy afternoon with stomp rocket launches and puddle jumping competitions) and little tidbits that matter way more to me than you (Luke's memory is infinitely superior to mine. Muttering to myself about my confusion with the beach dog walking hours in HH - Luke pipes up from the backseat.  "it's before 10 or after 5, remember Mommy?." Nope.)

We are here, we are happy, and we've got lots to share!  So get ready!
