Luckily they are all the same person so we had plenty of room! Melanie (real name = Melissa. The story behind this is really not exciting or cute or funny at all so just go with me on this one) came to visit Team Tully before her big and exciting and envy-inducing move to Oregon. We are so excited for her and her new job as a professor (so fancy!). Luke, for some reason, would not say Melanie so he was calling her Ms. Melody...what's one more name?! :) Just to clarify he could say Melissa but I haven't called her that in over 10 years so why would I have him use her actual name...too confusing for me. We had a great time! We gave Melanie a taste of the Tully life Days spent trying to stay cool; days full of play-doh, goo, trucks, trains, and dinosaurs. We also ventured out to see the spring site with a personal tour from L. L gave Melanie a tour of the factory and Melanie came home proudly displaying her hairnet...which she proceeded to wear for WAY longer than necessary! Ha! Melanie and I got to spend some Luke-free time at the beach which was so wonderful. We caught up on life and we recounted countless fantastic college experiences. My favorite may always be...Melanie running in place on top of an airport hotel bed while her pants were slightly on fire! (sidenote...believe it or not there was no alcohol involved in this particular event). We love you Melanie and we wish you all the best on your new adventure! Keep your door open for a Tully family trip out west!
Two things: 1. this was taken with a phone camera 2. Luke is not in pain. This is the face he makes when he is told to "smile big!"
